I’m Hanlie van der Vyver — a freelance strategic sourcing specialist, founder of Navy Blue Suits, and a passionate advocate for inclusive recruitment practices. With over two decades in talent acquisition across the IT and tech ecosystem, I’ve always believed in the power of purposeful hiring — the kind that builds diverse teams, opens access, and transforms lives.

I’m supporting a growing initiative to promote inclusive hiring across South Africa, with a particular focus on connecting capable professionals with disabilities to meaningful employment opportunities. Alongside my freelance work, I’m pursuing a Master’s in Industrial and Organisational Psychology, where my research centres on employee wellness.
