Support Analyst – Century City

Full Time

An opportunity exists for a Support Analyst to join one of the leading Bank Independent Payment Service Providers in the country. The Support Analyst will provide operational support across all company clients. The support includes daily monitoring of the environment, troubleshooting and resolving system issues. The successful candidate will have solid SQL skills and a good understanding of Payment Services and switching environments.

  • Handling of day-to-day incidents and requests for information / transaction queries
  • Implementations of software and patches
  • Management of open incidents after hours, and working effectively to resolve these incidents
  • Assist with problem solving and information gathering (traces/ log files etc)
  • Technical support of our environment
  • Early identification of issues through monitoring
  • Basic monitoring and quality assurance checking
  • After hours, remote support on rotation
  • Documentation and contributing to the Knowledge base
  • Team work
  • Matric
  • IT qualification (certificate/diploma or degree) advantages
  • at least 3 years’ experience (IT field monitoring or payments/switching industry)
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Understanding of Incident management
  • Logical approach to solving problems
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English
  • Understanding of Postilion and payments environment would be advantages


R40 000 – R50 000 per month
